Fisherman's Village Chili and BBQ Cook-Off

• The smoke will rise again as the grills fire up — the Fisherman’s Village Chili & BBQ Cookoff is back! Mark your calendars for April 24–25, 2026 for a weekend packed with bold flavors, friendly competition, and good old-fashioned Texas fun. Co-sponsored by Fishville Trading Post, this event invites pitmasters, chili champions, backyard cooks, and creative chefs to bring their best.
• Categories include Chili, Ribs, Chicken, Beans, Chef’s Choice, Mixed Drinks ($30 entry) and Brisket ($50 entry). Cash payouts and trophies will be awarded in every category, plus special honors like Goodtime Charlie and Hospitality & Sportsmanship. Best of all, 50% of entry fees are returned to contestants as prize money and trophies.

Not cooking? Come enjoy live music, BBQ plates, crafts, and exhibitor booths ($25 spaces available).

•  It’s a celebration of food, friends, and community — with net proceeds helping build the Tri-County POA parking lot.
